If you are looking for new reading material, want to learn best practices or find inspiration, I highly recommend subscribing to the following blogs and channels by architects, for architects.

Archispeak: simply the hottest podcast on architecture. Neal Pann, Evan Troxel, and Corman Phalen discuss topics on every architect's mind. Their conversational style is entertaining and informative in equal measure. @archispk

BUILD Blog by BUILD LLC. Two of the most prolific architect bloggers out there, Andrew van Leeuwen and Kevin Eckert muse on the state of architecture while discussing their challenges and sharing their achievements. @buildllc

Big Time Small Firm: if you are an architect on Google+, this is the community to join. Jes Stafford of Modus Operandi Design has created a safe place for professionals to encourage and mentor each other. The community is still small, which means you can get to know all the members, and fellow architects will most likely read and comment on your posts. About twice a month, Jes hosts a Google Hangout in which he discusses several topics with other members of BTSF, from green practices to designing custom homes. @modarchitect

The Patron Saint of Architecture. Angela Mazzi's writing focuses on moving past one's own psychological barriers, coaching readers towards the career they truly want. This blog is a refreshing read and quite different from the rest on this list. @AngelaMazzi

The Business of Architecture: Enoch Sears has a great blog and video podcast about marketing for architects. Check out his weekly series of interviews and don't forget to take notes! @BusinessofArch

Entrepreneur Architect: Mark R. LePage gives the most down to earth, no nonsense advice to anyone interested in building a sustainable and thriving business. Not afraid to talk about money, sales and the need to turn a profit, Mark has created a series of documents which belong in every architect's toolbox. @EntreArchitect

How to Succeed in Architecture: Novedge's very own monthly series dedicated to architects. Every month I invite three experts to share their knowledge on a Google Hangout on Air. Each episode contains a wealth of information as the panelists answer your questions live. So far, we explored topics ranging from  landing a job in architecture to starting your own architectural practice. @Novedge

Evan Troxel's Blog. Evan is not only one of the creators of Archispeak, but also a teacher and entrepreneur. His blog is a curated source of inspiration. I am eagerly awaiting more information on his mysterious endeavour, Project Undercurrent. @etroxel

Life of an Architect: Bob Borson's post "Dating an Architect" went viral last year, putting his blog on the map for most avid social media users. If you have not yet read his witty and true to life accounts of what it's like to be an architect, you might want to join his legions of fans. Now. @BobBorson

Coffee with an Architect: Architecture +Angst. Jody Brown's tweets and blog posts are certainly not for the faint of heart. Jody is not afraid to share some of his toughest challenges and uses sarcasm and dark humor to make his point. You won't know whether to laugh or cry. @JodyBrownArch
